A Message from Megan's Mom and Dad:

Megan is developing at a rapid pace, and she is a tremendous amount of fun.  Although she is still small for her age, Meg has an outsized personality and is full of energy.  In fact, she has become so active with preschool and activities, that we have had trouble finding the time to update her website on a regular basis (we will try to do better). 

If you are new to Megan's website, you may be wondering why we created and maintain a site about our daughter that has over 14,000 photos of her from August 2006, when she was a newborn, to the present.  First, we have family all over the United States including Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Jamie and cousin Kieran in Alaska, Great-Grandmother & Granddaddy Wilbanks in Alabama and Great Memaw & Papaw Athey in West Virginia, all of whom are unfortunately too far away from our home in Hockessin, Del. for Megan to spend much time with them on a regular basis. 

Second, we have friends scattered across the country and the world who we would like to introduce to Megan.  We don't feel as free to travel as we once did, and the web is a great way to stay in touch.

Third, Megan is the first grandchild for both sets of our parents, and the grandparents regularly demand updated pictures of her.

Fourth, and finally, doesn't every kid have a web site these days?  Well, maybe not.  But a lot of them do and we have borrowed ideas shamelessly from the websites of those who have come before us, including the online homes of Nate & Ben Mergler.
